Why “Cualtzin”?
In the Nahuatl language, cualtzin (kwahl-tseen) is a word full of heart. It blends cualli, meaning “good” or “delicious,” with the affectionate suffix -tzin, often used to show love or respect, like calling something small and special, dear to you.
To us, Cualtzin means “little tasty thing”- the kind of bite that makes you smile, where everything is made with intention. It’s about honoring cultural roots and everyday rituals while creating something new and nurturing for our community.
